July Blooms

I’m growing calendula for the first time this year. The flowers are beautiful, they attract pollinators and other beneficial insects and are nice companions for the tomatoes nearby. I’ve been plucking some of the flowers for drying and I’m learning more about culinary and medicinal uses for them.
